The Groovers

Rick and Tracy GrooverDirector - Global Impact Ministries is led by Missionary Rick Groover.  Rick has been involved in missions and humanitarian assistance all over the world for more then 25 years.  His ministry began at age 27 after hearing the life changing message of the gospel.  Since that day he has ministered throughout the United States, Central America, Africa and beyond.  His burden is to both “SHARE THE WORD” and “SHOW THE WORD” to every people group on the earth.

He has decades of experience in setting up humanitarian networks, preaching everything from mission conferences to revivals, special evangelistic events, training missionaries, and more.  Please contact GIMI at (513)256-0317 if we can assist you in any way to help the hurting and further the gospel message for the glory of God alone among the nations. Soli Deo Gloria

Secretary / Treasurer - GIMI is blessed to have Tracy Groover serving alongside her husband as Secretary / Treasurer.  Tracy brings two decades of experience in dealing with missionaries, foreign governments, special projects, and a plethora of other daily situations related to a ministry like GIMI.  She received Christ as her Savior in 1993 and has never been the same.  God now uses the lifetime of experience she has to handle the day to day needs of the GIMI office and ministry.  Tracy also assist her husband with things such as driving and more since he lost most of his eyesight in 2015.

Mike and Cindy Perry - Assistant Mission Director

Perry_Pic_Framed.jpgThough Mike did not grow up in church, he was saved at the age of 26 and has been on fire for the Lord ever since.  He has served faithfully in his local church in roles such as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent, Couples Leader, and Music Ministry.  Career-wise, Mike has been in manufacturing and project management for over 30 years.  He has led global and multi-site organizations and overseen large expansion projects.

His extensive experience and skills have prepared him for the Lord’s calling into full time mission work with GIMI.  Even though Mike did not know that God was preparing him for “such a time as this,” he looks back and sees how God was orchestrating the path he was walking all along.  Luke 1:37

Mike serves GIMI as Assistant Mission Director, Project Oversight, as well as Disaster Relief.

Cindy was saved at the age of 16.  She has committed to glorify God in all she does, including her battle with cancer at the age of 36.  She has served in her local church in many roles including children, couples and music ministries.  Her hobbies are scrapbooking, photography and writing, all of which allow her to preserve life memories and share her faith for generations to come.  Cindy has a passion for inspiring people to step up and make a difference in the world.  She helped to create a mentor program in South Carolina that engaged the community to mentor students in the local schools.  Though she did not realize it throughout her life, God was preparing her to serve the Lord full time in her role with GIMI.  II Corinthians 12:9

Cindy serves GIMI in Partner Relations, Media, and Videography.

Mike and Cindy have been happily married since 1988.  They have three married children and are proud that all 6 are serving in ministry.  They also have 1 precious granddaughter.

Stanley Onyutha - East African Director

Stanley and JanetGlobal Impact has had the pleasure of working with Pastor Stanley for more than 2 decades.  He and his wife, Janet, have done a tremendous job in the country of Uganda.  They have planted several churches as well as start a wonderful christian school with more than 400 students.  Pastor Stanley has also done a great job of training pastors and sending them out to start churches.  We count it a joy to partner with this great couple reaching the world for Christ in East Africa.
