Purpose

GIMI was founded in July 1999 to provide humanitarian assistance to the world’s poorest and most under-served people.  We respond to human suffering with compassion to disasters, whether, social, political, or economic.

We serve domestic and international communities by providing food, safe drinking water, medical supplies, equipment, educational resources, and more.

Operating Philosophy  

All goods and services will be provided through evangelical Christian missionaries or, local pastors, when providing domestic assistance.  This helps to ensure goods and services are distributed equitably, efficiently, and effectively.

Organization

We are an autonomous organization with an independent board of directors.  Our board president serves as our chief executive officer and directs daily operations.   

Support

We are a 501-C-3 nonprofit international humanitarian relief organization.  Our support comes in the form of cash gifts and in-kind donations by individuals, businesses, churches, civic organizations and government agencies.  Donations are tax deductible as permitted by law.

Recognition

The United States Agency for International Development, (USAID), has recognized Global Impact Ministries Incorporated, as a Private Voluntary Organization (PVO).
